Carrier (1990) To what extent do we invent
new myths or are they just reappropriated old ones?
The work Carrier tries within that point
of view to reconstruct some classical (European)
myths about the origin of the universe.
By using contemporaries most influential imagery (brands) from the Yellow Pages Carrier explores the Eternal Return (ewige Wiederkehr) of certain themes.

In a pun on the word ‘branding’ the works are all
silk-screens enameled on metal. The 'original'
brands are transformed due to several copying
procedures.
