DonKey (1993) For DonKey I asked different people to send me their failed pictures or those they could not fit in their system of archiving relevant photographs. So I obtained a huge variation of many almost undecipherable pictures and images from which I took some of them to be 'translated' by another strictly pictorial language. In this case I used the pictorial language of an automobile flyer.

As you might know the pictorial language in a car advertisement flyer is quite a one-dimensional construct and not so multilayered as in some other more complicated pictures or pictorial systems. I see the one as a tool to start a visual dialogue with the other.
